Our company is very technically orientated as you can see from the products we sell, we
enjoy products that take some knowledge to sell, and are leaders in their given product
category , instead of just selling commodities on price.
In today's world, communication is paramount; the Barr, Leonard Company has state of the
art communications. Our phone system is linked to our Cell Phones and Pagers for both
voice mail and alphanumeric paging. We supply our customers with an incoming toll free
number. We have the standard fax machine along with the capability to selectively
broadcast fax to our customers. Laptop computers are with us in the field, connected to
our network, and synchronized when we are in the office. We have, in house, the capability
to digitize artwork, OCR documents and create documents in HTML (Web Page) and desktop
Publishing formats. In addition, of course we have e-mail.
Steve and I, recognize that technology is not the answer to everything, it is only a tool
for helping us stay in contact with our customers and our factories. We still believe that
it takes regular persistence and personal contact with our customers to successfully sell
product. This takes personal contact, regular seminars, and creating innovative training
vehicles .
